Hi! I am Taryn (she/her) and welcome to Nurtured Therapy, LLC. I am a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for listening, helping, repairing, and healing. 

I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota
Duluth and my master’s degree in clinical social work from St. Catherine University and the University of St. Thomas. 

I have experience providing in-home and community-based case management and psychotherapy services for children, families, and adults. I have extensive training as a certified DBT therapist. While working at an intensive outpatient setting, I developed a DBT for early adolescents program, facilitated state-certified DBT, and provided individual supervision.

Personally, I was born and raised in Minnesota. I married my childhood sweetheart, and am a proud mama to a energetic toddler. I love snuggling with my child, cooking, and being in the sun and near any kind of water. Hiking, biking, and gardening also help keep me grounded. When I’m unable to be outside, I enjoy cleaning, organizing, and creating low-cost, structured activities for my family. I like learning new things, gaining different perspectives, and exchanging resources with others.
